SAT - Remember the next SAT deadline to register is before October 1st to take the exam on November 6th. Register at collegeboard.com. PSAT exams will be on October 13 at Westhill. Tri-Association Conference All teaching staff, English, Spanish and French will be attending courses for American school teachers the 14th and 15th of October. The Tri-Association is an organization of American schools in Mexico, Central America, Columbia and the Caribbean in which Westhill actively participates. Due to the staff training component of the conference, school will be closed on Thursday 14th and Friday the 15th. Wednesday the 13^th, we will have Early Dismissal at 12:30 Other After School activities I.- Chess Club. Play chess with Mr. Sacucci on Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30. Cost $1,500 per semester. II.- Music on Monday afternoons learn more about music with Mr. Mercedes. Total cost $800 per semester. III.- Math (One half credit) General math class for students missing a math credit. Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30. Cost $4,000 pesos. IV.-Swimming. Come swim with the Westhill team and Coach Morfin on Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30. Basic cost $750 pesos plus uniform and tournament costs. V.- Soccer. Monday & Wednesday. Come and play ball. Soccer for elementary students as well as MS & HS. Practice cost is $750 pesos per semester plus uniform and league. Please ask Elizabeth for a registration form. Sign up before Sept. 30^th. Activities start on Monday Oct 4^th. Basketball High school basketball players : make sure you have Your registration form, payment ($750), and doctor’s note into Mr. Chenier before October 6^th. Conferencia de la Tri-Association Todos los maestros de Inglés, Español y Francés asistirán a cursos para maestros de Escuelas Americanas el 14 y 15 de Octubre. La Tri-Association es una organización de Escuelas Americanas en México, Centro-América, Colombia y el Caribe, en la cuál Westhill participa activamente. Debido al componente de capacitación de personal de la conferencia, NO habrá clases el Jueves 14 y el Viernes 15 de Octubre de 2004. El Miércoles 13 saldremos temprano, a las 12:30. Otras actividades de After School I.- Club de ajedrez. Juega ajedrez con Mr. Sacucci Martes y Jueves de 3:30 a 4:30. Costo: $1,500 por semestre II.- Música las tardes de los Lunes. Costo básico: $750 más uniforme y costo de competencias. V.- Soccer.- Lunes y Miércoles. Ven y juega Fútbol. Para alumnos de Primaria, Secundaria y Preparatoria. Costo $750 por semestre más uniforme y costos de liga. Por favor pide a Elizabeth una forma de registro. Regístrate antes del 30 de Septiembre. Las actividades empiezan el Lunes 4 de Octubre. Basketball Jugadores de basquet de prepa : asegurense de tener su forma de registro, el pago ($750) y la nota del doctor con Mr Chenier antes del 6 de Octubre.
